What kind of god

Disenchanted The news makes me weep This is a cruel world How can a god let so many children die Send so many off to war Allow the famine to spread across his lands Let the disease take so many lives What kind of god A so called saviour Allowing so much suffering Allowing so much pain Pray for a miracle Pray for a cure Pray for salvation If god is listening Why does he not act? All of the wars All of the disasters The killings and the torture The suffering and the dread What kind of god Would let it go On? I guess for some people Having faith helps Their belief in god gets them through And I respect that Which ever god you follow Which ever holy book you read But I find it hard To put my faith in a god Who created a world Filled with so much suffering Filled with so much fear What kind of god Allows that?
