Once upon a time In a kingdom not so far away There lived a man of peace And his name was Jeremy He wanted make the world a better place He wanted to stop all the wars He wanted to prove to people That we could all live together Side by side People ridiculed him Mocked him Dubbed him a pacifist Unfit to lead But the people got behind him Gave him their support And he stood up to be counted As a leader not a dictator To persuade and not control He created a new kind of politics Kind but courageous too Just an ordinary person trying to do an ordinary job He stood by the trade unions He knew they were a force for good He has no Interest in bombs or wars All he wants is peace There was another man born Who went by the same name But they must never be mistaken Ones a gent And ones a Jeremy hunt.
