I wish

I wish I was on a beach somewhere

Basking in the sun

Far away from the terror and hate

And a life under the gun

Because it's getting far to scary

To live in this modern world

Because the we e is way too much hate

And animosity

The media keeps on writing the pot

A nd use it for political gain

But life is sacred

Life should be cherished

Please don't take the bait

Love thy neighbour

It's not so hard

We are dealt not so different

And I don't want to live in fear

I wont be consumed with hate
