It was an ordinary day in Manchester People went about their business Nothing special about it Just a typical Monday Like any other Monday People gathered together for the music It happened all the time It happens in arenas all around the world They had been looking forward to this for weeks Months even Counting down the days Marking them off on the calendar Teens, children Sons and daughters Nieces and nephews Uncles and aunts Mums and dads Brothers and sisters Friends People, human beings Lives, 22 precious lives
One moment of destruction One single moment And then a lifetime of grief And no words do justice And no one can comprehend How life could end In a flash Life... This sacred life
