Remedy

I keep dreaming of a future Where there isn’t any fight to fight When we lay down arms and shake hands The day when we put all of our differences aside Because just like the children fighting in the playground The things that we as adults fight over are trivial The God that we believe in, the colour of our skin Its been going on since time began And we are still no closer to finding a remedy We continue to grow further apart Because most of the world leaders are just war mongersAnd they would rather fight than talk And it scares me to know how much power They hold in their hands Because they could press the button Wipe us out at the flip of a coin And I don’t sleep easy ion my bed With that threat hanging over usBut there is hope – Jeremy Corbyn is a long standing and anti war activist - He is a supporter of military non intervention and unilateral nuclear disarmament He was the national chair of the stop the war coalition - He does not consider himself a pacifist regardless of what the tabloids may say, however apposing violence and war is his aim. He apposed the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and when asked whether there were circumstances in which he would use military intervention overseas he said I'm sure there are some but I Can't think of them at the moment '. I’m all in favour of a leaderfor whom war isnt the first option Spread the word of peace so we can all sleep at night I stand behind Mr Corbyn Maybe he could be the remedy
